Hi everyone!
Hi im gemma i have two springers, one called sophie who is 8 & one called Trixie who is 6. When we first got Sophie she was a handfull!so naughty and very hard to train. We had heard from someone that if you get another one when its 2 it will calm it down.So we did & when Sophies mum&dad had their next litter we got Trixie. Now it worked on Sophie she is very calm, still naughty but alot better but Trixie is mental!ive neva known such a mad dog! She sits on the chair at the table looks very comical!
1 thing i was wondering was if anyone else has a springer with just one patch over its eye? Sophie has just one,she was the runt & we always joke that her mum ran out of paint for her other eye.
Also unfortunately Trixie was diagnosed with Hip dysplcia last month & i dnt really know much about it so if anyone else has advice on it that would be a great help x

Hi Gemma, welcome to SL. You know what you have to do - get no. 3 to calm down no. 2. Sorryto hear about the hd :( have no advice on as have never had any experience of it myself. With regards to the patch over one eye neither of mine have one but I have seen some on some of the Springer sites. Hopefully someone else on here might know about hd and can offer some advice. Look forward to you getting some pics up soon.
